The polyvinyl chloride is an amorphous polymer with a small shrinkage. Powder should be preheated before processing to remove water, enhance plasticizing effect, prevent bubbles. And PVC easy to decompose, especially in high temperature and steel, copper contact easier to decompose (decomposition temperature 200 degrees) . Molding temperature range is small, must strictly control the material temperature. When the temperature exceeds TD, a large amount of HCL is decomposed out of PVC, and the material loses its chemical stability and physical properties. Therefore, Td is the upper limit of processing temperature. Due to the large intermolecular force of polyethylene, TF is very high, even close to the decomposition temperature, so plasticizers need to be added to reduce TF.
