空氣濾芯是一種過濾器，又叫空氣濾筒、空氣濾清器、風格等。主要用于工程機車、汽車、農用機車、實驗室、無菌操作室及各種精密操作室中的空氣過濾。
發動機在工作過程中要吸進大量的空氣，如果空氣不經過濾清，空氣中懸浮的塵埃被吸入氣缸中，就會加速活塞組及氣缸的磨損。較大的顆粒進入活塞與氣缸之間，會造成嚴重的“拉缸”現象，這在干燥多沙的工作環境中尤為嚴重。空氣濾清器裝在化油器或進氣管的前方，起到濾除空氣中灰塵、砂粒的作用，保證氣缸中進入足量、清潔的空氣。
